I've suffered mildly from anxiey/ocd for years but it's gotten 100x worse probably because of lockdown. I'm now experiencing crazy paranoia to the point I've convinced myself these guys who had parked outside my flat were filming me, watching me, plotting to kidnap me. It got to bad last night I was checking all the cupboards at home to make sure no one was there/looking around incase they had installed spy cameras and listening devices. Couldn't sleep last night noticing every tiny noise and getting up to check the front door multiple times. Even typing this out I know I sound crazy and there's a rational voice that tells me it's just my anxiety and thoughts running away with themselves but the fear is so real at the time. I'm now dreading being alone and the night time. Anyone had similar experiences with paranoia? Any tips on how to talk yourself down? I'm exhausted by this.

Yes, I sought counseling and got some medication. What have you been doing to treat it?
