what are the dangerous ones :scared15:

The only dangerous ones in the UK are adders. They have a V-shaped marking along their back and are very, very shy.

if i saw something that looked like a snake i would run away from it without finding out what type of snake it was :scared15:

You don't have to worry about dangerous snakes here in the UK, Whisper :)

i'm afraid of snakes though, i even run away from a slow worm when i was a kid cause i thought it was a snake :scared15:

I know I'm bumping a 2 year old thread but snakes in the wild are very very rare in this country, and not something one should worry about on a daily basis.

And I say that as someone whom snakes give the heebies.
