Out of date ham

I have just eaten a slice of ham that is 3 days out of date. I didn’t check the packet , it tasted ok, but really worried I’m going to get food poisoning now. Has anyone done this or knows about use by dates and safety.

I've done this on a reasonably regular basis, yes, it won't harm you. You'd have been able to smell and taste if it was off.

They tend to play it safe with dates, if it smells okay and tastes okay its probably fine :hugs:

I'm really careful too (I imagine many with HA are) but everyone I know tells me that I'm way too careful with food. They all eat out of date foods and never get sick. I understand your worries because my HA would make me obsess over it too, but based on what every I know tells me (including my bf who regularly eats out-of-date meats) you'll be fine :)
