I had calf pain come on tonight had it for about 5 hours now, would say it is mild to moderate, feels worse after walking and goes when sitting after a while. Yesterday I done absolutely nothing and didn't move around that much so worried I have caused a blood clot, I went out walking a lot today and it came on an hour or so after, I've taken pain killers and used heat pads and it's gone atm, no swellig etx but worried it could be a clot?

So I've woken up and the pain has gone and not returned since I took the painkillers and used heat on it, its been 12 hours, if it was a blood clot the pain would of returned by now right?

Check if the area is warm but not too much as it will get more heat the more you check. It’s highly unlikely to be a clot, they tend to form after a hard impact or being sat down not moving for a considerable amount of time. This used to be one of my main worries when I was in my teens/ late 20’s. Been reassured countless times by doctors they are very rare
