Hi, I am probably one of the oldies aged 71, but have suffered with mostly health anxiety most of my adult life.

Current situation, my doctor changed my medication from citaliptam to flouxetine about 8 weeks ago. For the first 2 weeks I seemed ok but then started with dihorrea and sickness which is ongoing. After 3 weeks (on a Saturday) I felt so ill I phoned a pharmacist who told me not to take anymore and phone my GP on Monday. I did, but she wasn’t amused and basically told me to decide what I wanted to be on. She asked me to go into the surgery the next day and she felt my stomach. Apart from saying go to the nurse for blood tests that was the full total of conversation. so I am still not on any medication and have lost over a stone in weight (although I am on the large side).

It really is making me feel ill, an with other health problems worried.

Has anyone else been through anything like this?

Sorry for the long post.

Thank you for reading.
