Scared of 2020

I’m having so much anxiety with everything going on now a days. I’m so scared to pick up my phone because there just always bad news or end of the world news. I’m going to be seeking treatment after my pregnancy since I would rather not take medication while pregnant. I’m just so scared it’s hard to cope .

This year is an absolute shit storm. I'm so sorry you're going through this while also pregnant! I feel for all the pregnant ladies out there with all the stress. Can you look into therapy? That has always helped me so much and most places are doing telehealth visits now. My insurance even waived the copay since Covid and so my visits are free!

Remember the media revel in crises, and they most certainly have had more than their fair share of field days during the first half of this year alone.

And regarding your fears of things getting even worse, that will only happen if society as a whole continues to be blasé about issues such as politics and fake news, plus also continuing to play the blame game.

Especially as many simply can't be bothered to even vote anymore whenever they get the opportunity, and also of course believe in all the scaremongering hype against opposition parties that the likes of The Scum, Daily Fail, etc, always seem to spew out in the run-up to elections.
