Hi Minion,
There are lots of things that are signs but that doesn’t mean they are. What does your surgeon say?
I’m so sorry for the worry that you must be going through.

It CAN be a PRE cancerous sign for some women. But it is in no way a sure thing. In fact, there is another gal on this forum with the same issue, and they've found no cancer in her, as far as I know.

What usually happens is that after your scope, they give you some medicine that starts your period so that your body can shed the endometrium naturally. If that doesn't work, then you can get a D and C to clean it out. Afterwards you'll be put on birth control, unless you want to get pregnant, so that it doesn't build up again.

Thanks for the replies. I suffer terribly with Health Anxiety. For this procedure I have been told I am going to have an epidural due to my reflux problems so no general anaesthetic. I have read that epidurals can cause PGAD which is one of the conditions I am scared of the most. Being menopausal is another cause. So I am at my wits end! I don’t know if to cancel

I don’t know what PGAD is but I’ve had an epidural and do have many many people.
Ok I just googled PGAD and I definitely didn’t have that! Nor have I ever heard of it before as a thing.

Lots of women have epidurals. Enjoy it. It makes you feel a whole lot better :)

Thanks for your replies. I really hate my brain! It tortures me constantly. Really scared of getting pgad. One if my greatest fears. And menopausal women are at bigger risk or so I have read. Health Anxiety is so bad 😞

Yes, you’ve said your greatest fear and most of our greatest fears are of getting ill. You could maybe try to write down the pros & cons.
