Hi

I would appreciate any advice please. I have developed anxiety in lockdown. My current symptoms is numb tingly hands that are almost constant. They do reside slightly for short periods of time but they always seem to be there in the background and come and go with different degrees ! I spoke to doctor who said it’s anxiety and checked my senses/reactions etc. Is it possible to have anxiety symptoms all the time? Will it go? :(

Hi
Ihave this and the GP says it’s anxiety too. I have it in my hands, feet and face and other places, but mainly hands and feet. Try not to worry it’s common.

Thanks for your reply- is it normal for it to be there every day? I regret googling it :(

I just developed this. Numbness in hands, feet, and left side of my face. No weakness though and no "stroke" symptoms other than the numbness which is actually more like tingles. Very alarming.

Do you find it comes and goes or stays all day? I have ibs and I feel like food makes a difference. I’m not sure.

I used to have this when my anxiety was bad too. Sometimes happens during a panic attack and it's quite frustrating.

Yep it’s anxiety I get tingling in my face quite often and the same as wired it’s bloody worse when having a panic attack.

I had a panic attack a month ago but the numbness doesn’t seem to want to go?

But you're constantly focusing on it?

It's horrible during a panic attack when your lips feel like pins and needles. And the tounge.

I guess but it’s very pronounced and doesn’t make sense for it to be still here if I’m not hyperventilating????

after numerous tests over afew months they said i had low magnesium and potassium , both which can cause the tingling sensations
