Brown mark on lower eyelid.

Hi all.

Some of you may already know that I have had really bad anxiety over my eyes and sight just lately. However, I have manged to reduce my anxiety around my eyes, vision and headaches.

Something new! I keep looking in the mirror and being very observant over this very light brown mark on my lower eyelid. It really looks just like a freckle on my eyelid. It's not painful, no lump and I'm actually not sure how lung it has been there. I think it could have possibly been here for some years, anxiety being anxiety is telling me otherwise.

I am trying so hard to not Google. I can just feel my anxiety is slowly creeping back again.

I was only at the opticians in April for new eye floaters and flashes. If this was something sinister on my lower eyelid would the opticians have said anything about it? Perhaps it's that small it has never been noticed.

Can you get freckles on your eyelid?

You can get freckles pretty much anywhere.

I actually have one on my retina! Apparently it's fine, and it hasn't changed in size yet in the years I've had it.

I'm sure the mark on your eyelid is just a freckle. I think you can forget about it.

I am sure this has been here for many years and not changed at all. It's my mind just looking for things to be wrong I think.

I just don't want to waste health professionals time getting it checked right now. It is so small and I would feel really stupid but also just the reassuacne would stop my worries.
