Penn State College of Medicine has published a list of prescription medications that may not work as intended when people take them together with medical cannabinoids, CBD oil, or medical or recreational cannabis.
The list includes medications with a narrow therapeutic index, i.e. have a small margin between a therapeutic dose and a toxic one and should only be taken under medical supervision. The list (PDF (https://sites.psu.edu/cannabinoid/files/2020/06/NTI-Meds-to-be-Closely-Monitored-when-Co-Administered-with-Cannabinoids_2020_04_25.pdf)) includes all TCAs, plus carbamazepine and clonidine which are also sometimes prescribed for psych disorders.
They have also released a more comprehensive list (PDF (https://sites.psu.edu/cannabinoid/files/2020/06/Cannabinoid-as-PRECIPITANT-Medication-Affecting-the-Metabolism-of-ANOTHER-OBJECT-Medication_04_25.pdf)) of meds which interact with CBDs to a lesser extent (it also has the meds from the 'narrow therapeutic' list above). Included are some benzodiazepines, bupropion, buspirone, duloxetine, melatonin, quetiapine, tianeptine, valproate/valproic acid and zolpidem.
