Flashing in my eye

Hey,
I been getting a one off every couple of days a Flash in my right eye.
As any one else had anything like this

I think you should probably consult your optician.

It could be nothing, but sometimes flashing in the eye is a sign of retinal detachment.

It's something that can be easily fixed as long as you get it looked at.

Like I said, might be nothing, but worth checking.

While advising seeing a medical professional is sound, placing that seed of fear is not.

Retinal detachment is rare, and flashing is usually accompanied by significant blurred vision, an extreme increase in eye floaters, a shadow across the field of vision etc.

I should know! I had it. But the good news is, I can still see.

Get it checked if it keeps happening but doesn't sound like retinal detachment to me. Consulting an optician wouldn't hurt though!
