Anyone taken this medication for gut issues and did it work?

I have taken it several times after being diagnosed with SIBO. The first time, it totally worked. Then several years passed, and after a trip to Guatemala last year I got a VERY serious stomach thing. I took three rounds of it (Xifaxan, which is the US version), and it didn't help. I have been able to stabilize my issues through diet recently, but it is a struggle. It is worth trying the medicine, in my opinion. I had no side effects from it.

Hi Mip, just seen your reply. I took the drug for two weeks, just finished on Friday. Have to say didn’t do anything apart from give me severe wind and excruciating muscle and joint pain. I’m due an endoscope on Tuesday pending a a Covid test result. I read that the drug may have to be taken for longer periods to work.

Have a look at Symprove. They do ship to the States. I’m on this, just started my last month. I think this has done some positive changes.
