Alcohol poisoning fear

So I drank way way too much last night and this morning I'm so panicky. I've felt anxious before after drinking alcohol but this is so scary. I don't feel unwell as such but my heart is racing, I feel like my breathing is erratic and I can't take a deep breath. Now my tongue feels like its swelling (I know deep down it's not). So my throat feels funny. I've read so much about alcohol poisoning and I'm terrified.

If you're able to type coherently you don't have alcohol poisoning. Drink lots of water and have a fry-up.

Alcohol causes anxiety, sometimes severely.


All you can do is stay hydrated and wait it out. And maybe not do it again :winks:

You're dehydrated, cocker. Drink lots of water and go easy on the sauce next time eh?

Alcohol and anxiety don't mix, if you're going to drink be sensible plenty of water and rest its just a very bad hangover, best cure for a hangover is don't drink xx
