Flushed/hot face after eating, or when tired in evening?

This is something that has been happening, though not consistently for a while now. It's usually just my nose, but sometimes my whole face is on fire! I don't think I'm allergic to anything as this happens sometimes just in an evening when I'm tired. I just wonder if this is anything to do with nerves. I used to think it may be BP but I've measured it when feeling that way before and it was just normal. Anyone else get this? I feel like it may be to do with nervous system.

I’ve been getting this recently. A very mild burning sensation in my face when I am tired or stressed. Google says trigeminal neuralgia.

I think I found the answer at least for me.
Apparently if you have a back or neck injury particularly at C2 it can cause this.
I fractured C2 in 1997 and I think it has caught up with me.
