Accidently ate a small piece of raw chicken?

So I did some breaded chicken in the microwave for the amount of time it said.

Didn't really check it and then when I had already ate a piece noticed it was raw.

Am I screwed?

How can it be raw if you cooked it for the right amount of time?

First time using the microwave on convection setting and used an oven proof dish. Wondering if the dish was too thick so it didn't cook correctly?

You're only 'screwed' if you ate enough contaminated chicken that your body can't handle.

And 99.99% of chicken isn't contaminated.

A few years ago my mum bought some chicken goujon’s which her and my dad ate as a little snack straight from the fridge & only after she read the packaging did she realise she should have cooked them for 20 minutes!
They were both absolutely fine & suffered no ill effects. You will be fine.
