I'm writing this post with the greatest sadnesses I could ever imagine. My friend since my teenage years, a constant source of joy and laughter in my life SarahNah- real name Margaret is currently in the the ICU. I don't want to go into to much detail, as I don't want to upset not trigger anyone here but I'll give you a idea of it.

As alot of you know, she had alot of mental health issues. A few days ago she went into a episode and tried to take her own life. They don't expect her to make a recovery and it's a matter of trying to work out how to get her parents out to the Netherlands to make any finally choices.

I don't know what to say, expect that I was one of the luckiest people in the world to get to call her my friend. As I have experience so much support here, she did also. You all have no idea how much you helped her in some of her darkest moments. There is so much she had to deal with, life kept just giving her so much to deal with but it never made her bitter.

I'm quite emtoional writing this so very sorry is it's alot of rambling. Her partner- Rob asked me to do a update as I had when she last hit a bad time. He said that he had to thank each one of you, that he said she always felt like their was a voice to listen here.

I'll try to keep this updated, it is a truly sad day.

Oh God I'm so sorry to hear this, Louise..That poor girl ..I sincerely hope she makes it but not only that... I hope she makes it and gets the help and support she needs to make her feel that life is worth living again and that she has a meaningful future with her MH issues controlled by the appropriate meds and therapy. She is obviously loved by many people but that is not enough if you are living a life of torment..

I sincerely hope your friend pulls through , Ive been the parent in that position being told your daughter might not make it through the night but ours did against the odds so don’t give up on her just yet , fingers crossed x

Hi all, Thank you so much for the replies.

They have taken her off any machine that are meant to asset her, she's holding on for the moment. It's touch and go but she is mostly breathing for herself. We sit and wait in hope.

A lil update, she's been breathing for the most part by herself. She hasn't really "woke up yet" is how her partner Rob described it, but he said he is "comfortable". They been doing lots of tests to check how all her organs will function now- especially her brain activty. There isn't much more to say at the moment, we just sit here in hope for a while longer.

Hi all, just dropping by and saying things are much the same at the moment. Which the doctors said is good- seeing they didn't think she make it pass a few days. I'm passing on her partners and parents thanks for all the well wishes xx

Hi all, thank you again for all the well wishes. Time is sure going go by fast! Sorry I didn't update sooner. Things have been hard and recovery has been slow but Sarah has a fab support circle. She has returned home just a few days ago which makes her partner very happy! It's a long road ahead sadly but there's lots of help if she may need it x
