I woke up feeling like I've got a hangover. But, I don't drink alcohol. Since 2pm when I woke up I've been sick 9 times. I used to have a fear of vomiting, not anymore. Anything I drink, or eat, comes straight back out. I ate 2 plain flavored crisps ... just 2 single crisps ... and it came out. I drank water, and vomited it back up. I tried sipping lucozade and I'm vomiting it back up.

I don't even know what this could be. I don't have stomach ache. I don't have diarrhea. Just a splitting headache, and this vomiting. I'm scared I'm going to dehydrate.

I ate some chocolate yesterday that went out of date in 2019. It was from a shop too! Could that have done it?

Sick of these bugs Blue! How are you doing anyway? I've not been around for a while. You still working through this COVID stuff?

Working full-time, yeah, and fighting hard against the anxiety and depression. Still hanging in there, though.

Good to see you back, just sorry the circumstances aren't so great.

Definitely sounds like a bug. I wouldn’t try eating, but if you haven’t been sick for 30 minutes then start with a sip of water every 10 minutes.
You’re unlikely to get seriously dehydrated yet, but if you can’t keep anything down for 24 hours then contact your gp. You should feel better soon though. Rest up.

Sorry to hear you’re feeling so bad. Try some dioralyte rehydration sachets they work wonders every time.

Could well have been the latter, especially if your vomit was of a similar colour, though if you have been persistently chucking up it could well be a stomach bug, especially as (dare I say it) Norovirus season is now approaching, or even a combo of both.

Doubt if it's Covid-related as such ailments have been doing the rounds at this time of year since time immemorial, and remember that vomiting is well down the list of potential Covid symptoms.

All is well. Still got a dicky stomach but not vomitted since around 3pm. Managed to sip lucozade and keep it down and managed a cup of tea. Feeling hungry so will eat shortly. Still have a horrible splitting headache though, and I've got to launch an important marketing campaign for a client dead on 8pm. It's really not the right time to be feeling crappy and tired.

You have the headache cause you’re dehydrated. Keep sipping the fluids. Plain matzoh and saltine crackers or toast will be best on the stomach. Take Imodium for any diarrhea and Tylenol for the headache, it’s easier on the stomach.

Yeah, likely a bug. It's chicken soup time mate! Even if hungry take it slow with neutral foods or it might be too much.

Unlikely the chocolate. You can eat the stuff years out of date and any white marks aren't a sign of it going of either as chocolate just does as it ages. It's safe since for years businesses are allowed to sell it this way as long as it's marked as out of date hence why specialist shops opened just selling it.

It's sounds like your classic sicky bug. You'll feel like you're dying for 24 hours (at least) then it will go and you will feel a bit delicate for a while.

Make sure you stay hydrated , and don't fret!
