Lump on kneecap (bone cancer fears)

A couple days ago I noticed a hard lump on my left knee. It's not painful or anything. Now I'm worried I have bone cancer. Or is it possible to have more bone on one kneecap than the other? I'm 32.

Hi in answer to your question it could be anything l have had a small hard lump on my shin for as long as l can remember, just get it checked its probably nothing to worry about especially no other symptoms or pain try not overthinking it take care xx
