I have had this symptom for a few years now in varying degrees. I've had various tests but never anything conclusive, just putting it down to how stress effects muscles and how the body works.
I just wondered if anyone else experiences this as I sometimes despair at feeling like the only one with this!
I've been checked out for fibro and even cfs, which I don't meet the criteria for, but it just makes things difficult. I have an electric bike and I sometimes try and push myself without the electric on but I am soon struggling, my legs burning and feeling out of breath, as if I've done a big workout!
I'm 34, of healthy weight, and try and eat healthily etc, just find this so limiting. Sometimes it makes just going up the stairs difficult!
Does anyone else experience this on here I wonder?
Thanks to anyone who reads!

I feel like this just walking at work sometimes. I think its to do with tension and breathing wrong. I also get the "air hunger " where I feel the need for a deep breath all the time but can't get one. Very frustrating symptom. Worst part is I KNOW its anxiety but I cant stop myself from feeling that way.

Thank you Kuraimoar, I think you might be right about the tension and breathing wrong. I know my muscles are very sensiive to touch these days too -or rather my skin is! I feel like his may be due to on going tension as well..

Hi! I was feeling like this a while back and I went to see a homeopath who also does kinesiology. She asked me lots of questions about my symptoms and lifestyle etc and did some muscle testing and recommended quite a few remedies, vitamins and minerals. They definitely helped! So it might be worth speaking to a homeopath if you're open to that to see if they can recommend something to help your energy levels etc :-)

I have been feeling this way for a few years now, even just standing doing the dishes is exhausting, I used to thing that it was all anxiety related but now I am been referred to a specialist in CFS/ME and am wondering if anyone here has had any experience of CFS/ME?
