Scratched mole on neck. Now bleeding. Melanoma risk later on?

Hello everyone

So like an hour ago or so I scratched a mole on my neck and it started bleeding. As of writing this, it still is bleeding but not much. It hasn’t completely stopped though

I have put a bandaid over the mole and will leave it on for several hours


I’m still worried it won’t stop the bleeding. Also will this lead to an increased risk for skin cancer in the future? I read something that suggested this. My dermatologist looked at this mole a year ago or so and said it looked normal.

I almost ripped one of mine off. It bled like a beast for a while then it was fine.

That was 15 years ago.
