I've had this weird bump on my thigh for close to three years now. It's definitely darkened but I don't know if it's grown or remember when it's darkened. I recently squeezed it and picked at it so much that a skin formed over the top, a little stuff came out and not it's not dark, just looks like raised skin. My question is, can you pick off the top of nodular melanoma? It looks like a dermatofibroma and I tried doing the dimple test but I can't tell. It's only about 4mm. Of course, I googled and that's what came up. :( Do you think if I had melanoma for three years, I'd be ill? Gonna have a doc look at it but anyone have anything similar in a dermatofibroma?
