So I don’t actually feel any anxiety about anything, but I did have 2 really bad panic attacks just over a week ago. Now I can’t sleep, this is the 3rd night since the panic attacks.

symptoms - pounding “heartbeat” in stomach, shaking legs, internal vibration.

I did actually drop off when I first went to sleep, but then I woke up suddenly and had the above sensations. They calmed slightly and I dropped off again but then awoke again and they’re back.

Has anyone else had this?

Sounds like nocturnal panic attacks like I have. Best to get up and move about when they happen - because your body will be full of stress hormones (adrenalin and cortisol) and even if you drop back off, you will soon be awake again.
