Hi, my name is Seonaid and I've used this site for ages now. It's been fantastic at easing my worries around my health but this time I'm scared there's something very definitely wrong. On Saturday I noticed blood in my pee, i contacted out of hours who gave me antibiotics and asked for a sample of urine. I took the three day course of meds only to get more blood in my pee on the last day. I think that will rule out a UTI and am convinced now its cancer. I have no other symptoms and although we are still waiting for culture's to be identified, the Dr has told me there was no blood present on the initial dipstick done on Saturday but 18+ hours after the first bleed. Can anyone relate to this....im literally sobbing at the thought of telling my children I've cancer.

It could be a kidney stone. I have had bleeding like this and I have kidney stones.
