Welcome; Notmoogie :) Just wanted to say...don't give up on CBT; totally. Its a process/skill that gets easier overtime. Don't feel like its 'all or nothing' - You can just make simple daily change(s) to break unhealthy patters. I like to see it; rather than changing behavior(s), I'm changing emotional reactions attached to my symptoms. Did that make sense?? For those of us dealing with chronic health condition(s), its (all to) easy to react emotionally. Try to detach the emotion from the symptom and it *may* overtime result in less severe reactions. That is part of CBT right there. I wish you strength to deal with everything you're doing through :)
