Nothing Huge!!!!

Hi Peeps

Well today I went into Southampton lol

Ive lived here for years but today for the 1st time in 20 years i went into town!!!

We went into Debenhams a big department store cos I wanted to see the Yankee Candles!!!

Left 40 quid worse off lol but with candles!!!

Wandered around (well hubby did cos Im disabled and was in wally the wheelchair)

Had a coffee in Starbucks

Place was heaving

First time I have put my recovery to the test!!!

Couple of get me outta here moments but mostly I was fine!!!

Very brave - shopping on a Saturday, Debenhams here is usually heavin with people and people trying to squirt perfume in your face as a tester.

Good for you getting pressies for yourself :)

I made an attempt to xmas shop today but bought nothing and had a terrible lunch (which I returned and got money back)!

But we did get my niece the most gorgeous xmas stocking :) she is only 3 months old so wont appreciate it just yet but we have all got one so was only right she gets one too to hang on my mums fireplace

Well done Kazz,you must feel really good:cloud9: .I know what Southampton gets like.Last time I went there was last christmas,had a hot chocolate in debenhams.There was also this lovely market and they were selling pancakes with different toppings,they were lush.I can only go with my better half though.You have done so well.:hugs:

What do you mean nothing huge???? that it is! Well done! You have just been taking leaps and bounds recently eh!?
I am always overwhelmed at people going into city centre's, they are probably my worst nightmare. I can do it, but avoid it at all costs. With the springing up of all the out of city shopping centres, I manage to avoid quite a lot!
SO, I think that is a major achievement hun, not a little un. AND....you feel you could do it alone? I am suitably impressed!
