Hi, so glad this nmp is here. It helped me so much 4 years ago. I'm 50 and being for a smear today and now I'm in bits, even my diazipam aren't helping the panic.
I'm being referred for colopsy ? As my cervix is very sensitive and bleeds when touched. I have read it could be perimenopause ? But of cause it gives OTHER causes . I can't even think straight. Anxiety is through the roof already as I'm high risk and been shielding since March. Please help x

Sorry, I don't have much for advice, but do know they usually sedate you pretty well for the procedure. I hope you feel better soon.
