Ascites

I had an ultrasound done due to pain in abdomen it turns out I had gallbladder stones but it also said right sided ascites from what I saw that is really bad. I’m a 23 year old with kids . This is terrifying please let me know if you guys had anything similar with good outcomes

Have you had a chance to speak to your doctor about the results of the ultrasound? If not, that'd be a great place to start. Ultrasound and other diagnostic imaging tests often yield incidental findings. Sometimes they require action of some kind, and other times they may even be false positives.

I have she said we would repeat in 4-6 weeks. She also sent me for blood work. Thanks for your message. I know mistakes happen I work in the medical field so I know it’s possible. It’s just scary when it happens to you
