Today I opened a bottle of a soft drink and instead of gently letting built-up pressure release, it opened with a fierce 'snap' that I felt under my left eye. Since then I've blinked a lot and I'm wondering if the pressure of the escaping gas/liquid has forced it into my bloodstream/eye (the skin's quite thin there after all) and will it either create a mini embolism or force the liquid into my eye and that's why I keep blinking?

I know that you know deep down that this is not the rason for your excessive blinking however being a fellow HA sufferer I also know just how easily our thoughts can be so irrational! Your blinking is due to you thinking about it, do something to take your mind off of it then notice it will calm down then you will see that it's nothing to worry about 🙂
