Terrys nails

Hi. I've been really worried lately about potential liver/kidney issues due to some abdominal pains a while back. Bloods fine. Ultrasound mainly fine but found 2 what looked to be benign lesions on my liver - I've had an MRI to check them but results could be weeks. I'm now paranoid I've got Terry's nails - Google says white with a red/ pink/ brown band at the top. Mine aren't white but very pale with this dark band at the top. I don't know how normal this is? Thank you

We're not doctors so photos don't matter :shrug: Best to wait for the test results or contact your doctor if you're that concerned.

Because I'm so anxious about it. I absolutely know it is not helpful though, I know it isn't magically going to say "oh, all your symptoms? Its this completely benign cause, no worries!" - as that is clearly what I'm hoping for 😂

Hello, just an update as there are a few threads on here about Terry's nails concerns, but no conclusion. I've now had an MRI on my liver which found a benign cyst, but nothing else untoward. My nails remain very pale with a redder band at the top. I'm going to try and move on from this now.
