Just wondering...

Hi everyone,
Hope you are all well!
I'm going to have a grumble!

I went to the doctors last week due to my anxiety which was getting out of hand. I was prescribed Citalopram. I've been taking it now for 5 days and everyday i am feeling slightly worse. When i begin to feel hungry it is accompanied by nausea, i'm feeling exhausted and lethargic. I seem to be in a world of my own. I think its made my anxiety worse. I guess these are all side effects but i was just wondering if anyone could give me any idea when this should ease off, or if the exhaustion and lethargy will most likely fade?

Welcome to NMP, its lovely to see you here, im sure you will get some great advice, support and make new friends too.:)

When first starting Citalopram you will usually find it hieghtens your anxiety and usually takes 4 to 6 weeks before you start feeling the benifits, its quite normal to feel like this so dont worry hun.:hugs:
