Hi I have had many psychological symptoms with health anxiety over the past years which made any physical symptom worse in my head. I have had unequal pupils on and off for about 3 months now worse in the morning or in dim light. I have been seen by gp ophthalmology and optometrist none are worried but this is really noticeable and new and scares the living daylights out me as a google search tells me it’s not good. I don’t know why I can’t relax with the specialist opinion. It’s very real and noticeable when there. Comes and goes moved from eye to eye what can I do 🙄

What you need to do is get treatment for your anxiety - this is the problem, not your pupils. I've been in your position and nearly drove myself loopy convincing myself I had a brain tumour.

Stop looking at your pupils, stop Googling and start devising a strategy to help with your anxiety. Something like 25% of the population have unequal pupils, and it isn't remotely a big deal.

I have this and went to emergency optician at the hospital in March 2019 and it’s still exactly the same. They did tests on eyes and were not worried. I still have it now and as far as I am aware if it had been a sinister tumour I would be very ill by now x
