What advice are you looking for? I assume that since you got diagnosed you are currently receiving treatment for it.

PTSD requires fairly specific types of therapy. What was the cause of the PTSD if you don't mind me asking?

There are several of us on here that are diagnosed with PTSD. There is also a specific sub-forum on here to PTSD. I have it, and I would be happy to answer any questions for you.

The best book I have found on it is: The Body Keeps the Score: Brain, Mind, and Body in the Healing of Trauma (https://www.amazon.com/Body-Keeps-Score-Healing-Trauma-ebook/dp/B00G3L1C2K/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjw78yFBhCZARIsAOxgSx1dvDiiGY9RYsWiYxN5 DOsFm48s2tKFiOQFjbN0qDqY7r_x9JRpZ-UaAp_vEALw_wcB&hvadid=241620573485&hvdev=c&hvlocphy=9031567&hvnetw=g&hvqmt=e&hvrand=10782764717860247144&hvtargid=kwd-52082394281&hydadcr=15524_10340834&keywords=the+body+keeps+the+score&qid=1622394400&sr=8-1) by Van Der Kolk

Hi

This is just a courtesy reply to let you know that your thread was merged with another of your threads.

Please when posting on similar topics add it onto your previous post rather than starting a new one.

It is nothing personal it is just to make it easier for people to follow your story and to give you advice as a whole.
