Hi everyone. :D
Just wanted to post to let you know what a summer I've had..
* I went to Wales and stayed in our caravan in a previously unknown very small park in the middle of nowhere.
* I walked up a mountain with my hubby and daughter, slowly and with support.:shades:
*This half term just done we went to Wales again. In 2006 I couldn't even consider it. But this year we spent 2 days with my brother in law on way to Prestatyn.
*5 days at Pontins, where we also went up Snowdon on a Railway,
*round a lake railway, and
*overcome lots of other little challenges like walking to the bar on my own!
The Snowdon railway was challenging because it was really jerky. And at first I started to feel nauseous. Then I felt anxious because I felt sick, then started to feel worse. Even wondered whether there was a carrier bag I could use or whether I'd have to lean out the window! :emot-puke: But I realised what was happening and said to myself I am going to make this go away. After some steady breathing and focussing on other things it soon eased and I made it to the top of the mountain and have a photo to prove it!! :yesyes:
(I can't add an image all my files are too big )
We also stayed with brother in law again on way home and went on a railway I've wanted to go on for 3 years!
What a fantastic time! There's hope for us all!!!! :yesyes:
