Hi all, so this morning I was going to wash the car and I got the hose pipe out (50m so quite long) and for the first minute or so the water was quite cloudy and smelt real bad. I was rinsing out a bucket and thought oh maybe it was leftover chemicals in the bucket, but looking back now it's never done this.
This is a new hosepipe, I've only ever used it once before so the last time I used it was about a month ago. Now, since then water would have been sat in the hosepipe for quite some time and considering it's been hot these last few days/week it would have been perfect breeding ground for it!
I'm scared that I have now caught legionnaires disease, because I smelt the rotten bad smell and when I googled, that's what came up!! :(
So the obvious question is... is it dangerous?
