I'm mainly writing this here to help myself calm down.

Two nights ago (Friday night) at midnight I went to a Latin mass for the first time because I wanted to experience it.

We started a few minutes late because the Priest informed us that there was a bat that had gotten into the church somewhere and he tried to find it and catch it with one of those big butterfly nets. I didn't see a bat, as far as I can tell I did not **feel** a bat (I tried looking under the pew), and I didn't walk around that much in the church, probably an area of less than like, 100-150 feet or so (door to one of the pews in the back around other people).

I did notice, yesterday, however, two scratches on my right arm around my elbow joint (would've been partially uncovered due to me rolling my sleeves up) and now I went from a small rabies fear to a pretty big one.

I'll post the scratches below - I'm gonna ask the priest if he found the bat or not in a bit, and go from there. I might call animal control or a doctor to ask about getting the vaccine. I know I'm probably fine, but oh man if this isn't taking a lot out of me.

You had this fear back in Nov 18 so why not try and get some treatment for the real issue here which is the anxiety. That would probably help more.

I mean, I see a therapist every week, what's the point of removing the pictures though?

We don't allow pictures on here asking for reassurance.

Ok, what would your therapist tell you about this irrational fear of rabies?

Wasn't able to ask the Priest about the Bat - what should I do?

Probably say that it's statistically insignificant.

Probably say that it's statistically insignificant.

More like statistically impossible. There are no such things as ninja bats.

What should I do if my arm keeps feeling weird?

Take a breath and remind yourself your mind is playing tricks on you.

Uhh I’m with you… I’m on the caboose with this one again too. Convinced I was bit by a bat at wedding at a winery when I bent down near a tree with a hole in it that was covered by chicken wire, at a winery that I saw bats swooping at all night.
