My left eye became itchy a month ago and I got the drops from a doctor but then it started tearing. It's not itchy anymore but it is red and constantly tearing.
I am so scared that I have a brain tumor or something like that or that I will become blind.

I use computer a lot but I need it for work and I wonder why is it just one eye.

Absolutely not a symptom of a brain tumor. Sounds like dry eye to me.

Sounds like conjunctivitis to me. Time to revisit the doc. Probably get some antibiotics.

I have had the same problem twice. The first time it was related to one of those air fresheners that you plug into a power point. The next time it was related to COVID. It started in March 2020 and is ongoing. I am allergic to hand sanitiser. I work in a school and everyone applies hand sanitiser numerous times each day. The one I use in my room is the only one I have found that I’m not allergic to. I can control the environment in my own room. Not so, the rest of the school where everyone uses the sanitisers issued by the education department. Maybe you are allergic to it too. Or maybe you have a brain tumour. Kidding.

My eye is still very red and tearing all day every day, I am desperate, I was taking antibiotic/steroid eye drops and it didn't help at all, I am at this point convinced I'll go blind/loose an eye.

And it's my good eye, I see better with this eye. I want to cry but it will worsen it.

Maybe it's MS, my old fear.

have you gone back to the eye doc?

No. I am scared that he will tell me that it's something very wrong with my eye. I know I must go but I don't know how to make myself go.

It will only get worse if you don't go
