Hello everyone im back again. As mentioned before im fearing ALS since last October. The fear is 100% focused on my thumb muscle i can feel the muscle wriggling which I've decided is a twitch in the thumb it also feels weaker than my other hand. Over the past year I've developed a benign tremor which surprisingly im not worried about nor is my doctor. Im wondering if anyone thinks the wriggling feeling and weakness in my thumb could be due to my tremor? I'm seeking help for my anxiety my first CBT session is next week its just hard to not think of the worst scenario. Would it be possible to have ALS since October and it not progress to another limb. Any helpful info is greatly appreciated

I am besieged by muscle twitches- all over my body. Even if the wiggle feeling is a twitch, what does that show? I had a thumb muscle which twitches got 2 months straight a year or so ago…..
And perceived weakness is not at all the same thing as clinical weakness
