Hello, people of No More Panic. I am a 26 years old French woman who has suffered from health anxiety and what is probably OCD (mostly the intrusive thoughts part, but also some checking behaviors) for quite some time now. I've always been the nervous, stressed type even as a child, but it has only gotten worse in the past few years, and worse still in the past year and a half (covid lockdowns factoring in very badly). I have lurked around here on more than one occasion, since the threads were usually much less anxiety inducing than Dr Google, but I've reached a point where I think I need to post on here myself. I'll detail my current state of mind in a different, more suited thread, though. Have a good day everyone.
