Downward spiral today

Been keeping on top of worries until was told today a former colleague in hospital with a month to live and someone shared something on FB about someone who went to docs feeling unwell and was given a few weeks to live. My worries about my vague and not so vague symptoms are running amok now.

I can imagine seeing something like that, especially about someone I know, would also make me spiral. I do my best to stay off facebook since any kind of news can pop up on there, all my other social medias I curate heavily so the risk of me seeing stuff like that is low. Don't know how to help you feel better other than saying that stuff happens incredibly rarely. Hugs
