I went to the ER yesterday due to chest pain and my left arm hurting and was told my heart looked fine and that it was GERD. I think to myself heartburn ok I can deal with that, until I went home and looked up the hashtag gerd on TikTok and saw a video of a lady saying her husband died due to esophagus cancer and was told it was just gerd now I'm scared. What if they are misdiagnosing me? I don't have insurance to where I can get a scan. I don't know what to do. I don't want to think the worst but this acid reflux and heartburn is bad. Any support is appreciated
