I've had a quite stressful time for the last month - worrying about family and other issues - which has left me with a lot of the old anxiety symptoms and currently feeling very unsettled physically and emotionally.

Headaches, ambulatory aches and pains, fibro flares, blurry eyes, tinnitus ... you name it I've had it ... just now trying to regain a settled feeling in my guts (and make my stomach shift out of my ribs!), but the on-edge feeling persists and I feel like a scalded cat pacing about and unable to relax.

How do other on FMP manage the 'come-down' after a stressful time and shake off the anxiety shadow.

Headaches, ambulatory aches and pains, fibro flares, blurry eyes, tinnitus

This is me on a good day tbh Dora..

I can't settle either. Having said that, I really don't know what it's like not to function on some level of anxiety every day?

During the bad periods, I just try and look after myself as much as possible. Helping my system along by eating well and watching how much time I spend on the internet. Not doing too well on the last one today! Oops!

Things will settle down for you soon. You've been through some very stressful stuff recently. Hang in there lovely.

Well I know that daily level of anxiety only too well Nora - at the best of times as you say it is always there in the background. Perversely, I feel that if I relax my guard then something else will happen ... suppose that is the element of depression speaking.

Been a rollercoaster of a month and I'm doing my best to come down off it. Haven't dipped into the brandy bottle yet! Thanks Nora for the support.
