Hello,

I am really worried as I tested positive for Covid yesterday, I haven’t had any jabs yet as mine was due this week 😟. I’m 32, not in the best shape but I do play golf 3 times a week. I’m worried im
going to get really bad and end up in hospital. I live alone and I don’t have any family near me at all! Any help
or advice would be great! So worried 😟🤒

Yes I was tested yesterday with PCR test and came back positive this morning. I was tested as i my friends I was with Saturday tested positive. I have a small fever and headache at the moment. Slightly blocked nose and a small cough but nothing major. I couldn’t tell you when I came into contact with anyone so wouldn’t know when this started. I’ve been told by the NHS to self isolate for 10 days now it’s positive.

Rossi_h so far so good .. take it easy and do all of the things you normally do when you have a virus, rest, drink plenty of fluids, take tylenol or advil for symptoms if you need it and find something good to binge watch on tv.

Stay with us for support, we are all here for you :-)

**my dr said 10 days after day 1 of symptoms so that is how I counted.

You've come to the right place fro support, Rossi...You'll get some great advice here from people who have had Covid and come out the other side but help with anxiety is probably just as important and we're all very experienced with trying to manage that without catastrophising!

Hello Rossi, myself and my boyfriend had covid in January.

I would recommend the following:
Cold and flu tablets or lemsip
I bought some vitamin d off of amazon and took that and zinc and vitamin c each day
Strepsils help a lot for a dry throat or cough
Deep heat or tiger balm good for chest tightness
Plenty of hot drinks, honey and lemon, tea and of course lots of water

You should be able to order all of that online.

Being 32, it is very likely to stay mild. Lots of my friends have had it now and have only been unwell for a week or so. We were unwell for a little longer but importantly we are both completely fine now 😊

The most important thing is to rest. Even if you feel up to working and can do from home I'd advise you not to, your body needs all the rest that you can get.

Most cases are mild and there's every reason to think yours will be. If you do start to feel bad and think you need to speak to a doctor don't hesitate to call 111, they are really good.

Keep posting on here, there are lots of people here who will support you through it.

You'll be ok :)
