Eye Twitching

Since last Wednesday I have had an eye twitch. It is not like eye twitches I have had in the past. It is slower- causing my top eyelid to almost touch the bottom one. I am really concerned but have a fear of doctors. I keep hoping in the morning it will have gone but it starts up again. I do have a lot going on and am not sleeping great so is it possible it is due to this? Has anyone else had this type of eye twitch before and it’s eventually gone? Terrified it’s a symptom of something more sinister. TIA

Of the zillion times I have had or heard someone having eye twitching never have I heard it was anything even remotely bad.

It will stop just like it started, without reason.

I get eye twitching in my left eye when i'm really stressed. I've had eye twitching for months at a time before. All harmless.
