How long have you been on an antidepressant please answer

I have been on an ssri for 21 years Paroxetine for 17 and now fluoxetine for 5. Im just curious how many others have been on something for the long term. I read something recently about the possibility of long term ssris use poetentialy triggering seizures. Anyone else have any info on this?

I've not heard of that.

I've been on paroxetine for 22 years in various doses.

I've been on psychiatric medication(s) (and therapy) for much of my life - I'm well into my 40s. I don't know anymore what is side effect or symptom. Perhaps talk to your med provider about this, but I think ssris would cause that, however trying to off benzos, that is another story .. ugh :(

I've been on escitalopram constantly for 7 years now. Before that, I was on various other meds off and on. I've never experienced that or heard of it.
