Please could you all give our Piglet lots of hugs, thoughts and prayers to let her know we are all thinking of her.:hugs:
Sadly Piglets dear mum passed away today after falling ill yesterday. she as asked me post a thread on her behalf to let all her friends on NMP know why she isnt around.

Andy, Nic and Trac - girls I just wanted to thank you so much for the cards and flowers that came this morning. I'm looking at them now and was sooooo touched by the gesture. :hugs: :hugs: :hugs: :hugs: :hugs: :hugs:
I didn't always have the easiest of times with my mum sadly but she was my Mum and I loved her and the last few days have been a horrible shock, however she passed away peacefully in hospital and for that I am so thankful.
I have plenty of lovely memories to focus on and feel sure she's happy now in heaven with my Grandad and Grandma. I loved the poems people and will be copying them to show my sister in the hope the words will offer comfort like they did for me.
Thank you to each and everyone of you for posting and trying to make me feel better. :hugs:

I don't know how far you have to travel for the funeral poppet, but I just feel your agoraphobia will take a bit of a back seat.
When I lost my mum, my anxiety was kinda put somewhere else. I even managed to help my brother tidy and clean his house for the wake, something I could not do to my own!

Well it's days drive away depending on the traffic and we will also have to stay overnight but I am going to try and approach things as and when I come to them, rather than letting anticipatory anxiety go into overdrive - I took this approach with the hospital stuff 3 weeks ago and it did help.

Piglet I know in my heart that you will cope no matter what. Keep in mind what you achieved in London and although this is totally different circumstances, the lessons that you learned in london will get you through.
You are so right, break them down into little stages. Instead of thinking about the whole situation, face one thing at a time, and this will help you immensely.

Piglet me darlin' - you will find the strength.
I was with my dear dad at the end and I sang to him - and I did the same at his funeral, in front of everybody. I'm sure a lot of of my strength came from him.

Oh my goodness,
Im so sorry its late but ive only just read about your mum.
loads and loads of hugs to you.
My mum died suddenly aged 60 and that was in 1984 and im still grieving and missing her.
Most mums are special and the way I coped and still cope is my faith that shes always with me in spirit.
