Four days ago, suddenly when I was drinking some water I felt this.. thumping sensation when I swallowed. It’s hard to pinpoint exactly where it came from but I felt it around the soft palate area, like the back of my mouth/roof of mouth. I’m pretty sure it didn’t come from my throat cos I had that happened before and this felt different. I feel it the most when I’m drinking liquid. It’s painless.

I do have mild TMJ on that side and also post nasal drip on that side so I’m hoping it’s somewhat related. I googled but couldn’t find something similar to my case, usually it’s clicking throat. I wonder if it’s my eusthachian tube opening and closing but I don’t know, why have I never felt it before. Or maybe the muscles contracting when I swallow? Are there even muscles there.

I was just over worrying over other stuff and now this happens 🙁

Any chance you have experienced something similar? Thank you.
