Hi, my brother fainted today while getting his covid vaccin. He fainted and fell off the chair, on his headphones that he was wearing. He has been very nauseous and dizzy since. His forehead is wounded from the fall too.

So my concern is that he might have a mild concussion. At the vaccin first aid place they said he was checked and things were OK. But it's been 4 hours now and he's still nauseous and throwing up sometimes. Also has a bad headache.

He's trying to sleep now, but should i wake him up every few hours to be sure? Or is he probably fine as falling from a chair isn't a very big fall? I'm only a little concerned because of the bruises on his head and the nausea. I don't know how much checkups they did at the first aid place

Thanks for the link, ill check it out now.

At the first aid they also said he convulsed when he fainted, thats why he had more than one head wound. But apparently they wernt too worried. Is it 'normal' to convulse when fainting??

Some people do, some people don't. Some people do sometimes and then not others.

At work I've seen a fair number of people faint and have seen both.

Follow the guidance on the website, I'm sure he'll be fine.
