Hi there , so I'm 38 new to this forum. So this all started 7 months ago with a twich in eyelid. Then I got a strange vibration twich in my leg. Now I have 1000s of twiches all day, mainly in calfs. Now I'm getting vibrations in my muscles. Left arm gets pins and needles, and feels so strange using it. All over muscle loss. Seen 7 doctors.. one ALS/MND PHYSIO.. and dr sharma from queens square who is a specialist on mnd. He told me I have nothing to worry about but omg im getting pains all over jaw is stiff and my tongue now. Twiches are relentless. I feel broken now I have so many panic attacks a day, I cant function at all. And I cant put of this hole in. Thought about some dark things in my mind about not wanting go on like this anymore. Its consumed my life. Has anyone else has symtoms like this. Really need help 😫 sorry

Take a read through the ALS sub-forum (https://www.nomorepanic.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?115-ALS-MND-amp-MS-concerns).

Thats actually a good read thank you.. Problem i have is even though ive seen a top neurologist i think how the hell can he tell i dont have LMN. everyone says you need an emg but he didn't think I needed one, chronic stress ive been under every minute of the day for 7 months has honestly made me so ill

My neck makes noises all my joints hurt and click. Lost muscle all over which fuels my anxiety. I was a 38 year old guy. Full off life, a man's man. Now in reduced to thinking I dont want to live me life like this anymore. And to put this out to strangers is a hard thing to do

It’s a really hard position to be in. I know. But you should trust your neurologist. When I saw a neurologist for symptoms similar to yours she didn’t do an emg either. She said there was “no point” because never once, in her entire career, has someone presenting with twitches had - or gone on to develop - als. Twitches without CLINICAL weakness are irrelevant

My neuro said the same kind of thing. And being he is one of the most well known neuros who actually has so much experience in MND I should trust him.. he said to me. Being as its a clinical diagnosis and not a computer which is why some people find it hard to believe. Hard to believe anxiety causes all this though sometimes

I take pictures or my limbs all the time to see if they have changed. Lost a perfectly great girl because im so broken mentally. 7 months or chronic stress and anxiety has destroyed me
