Spot with black in middle

Hi there. Just now my leg started feeling really itchy so I itched it a bit then looked and noticed a red spot with a black dot in the middle. I'm really freaking out it might be skin cancer. Anyone had anything like this? Any ideas? I'm so scared 😨. Please reply. Love Louise. Xxxxxxxxxx

try and take a step back and not panic, this happened to me a couple of years ago I went to the gp and she was able to reassure me there and then using a special light to check it. Is it a new mole/spot or have you had it a while? I know I wasn’t sure. Have you been to the doctor if not then get it checked chances are it will be fine. Good luck xx

My first thought is a bug bite. The bite part often looks black even though it’s dark red.

I’d go to the doctor if it doesn’t go away in a week or two. It’ll give you peace of mind.
