methylprednisolone 4mg dosepack causing mild to moderate side effects.

Hi my doctor prescribed me a 6 day 4mg dose pack of methylprednisolone for a bug bite that caused moderate inflammation. Im on day 5 However i have been having some pretty moderate side effects including Haven't got more then 6 hours of sleep while on it {Finish the dose pack tomorrow morning} Mild memory problems{everything has felt like a blur the past 5 days but can recall some stuff} and Depression like moods {Started crying over nothing on day 2 and 3 but better now}. im also taking antibiotics{Infected} the swelling is almost back to normal what i want to know is are these side effects normal because its been a very tough past 5 days for me. Im hoping that when i finish it tomorrow i can just go sleep for 36 hours. But i don't know how long it stays in your system after completely finishing it. Any help or advice would be appreciated {tried calling doctor the 2nd day but never got a response}.

Hi devo343

From my moms experience on this medication, your symptoms seem like usual side effects that would be expected. You should see them taper as you come off the meds.

thanks for the help yes the side effects have taperd off still having memory issues but i think my anxiety is playing it out more then it is.
